Shopping on this website couldn't be simpler, just follow the easy step-by-step instructions and you are sure to find what you are looking for.
The HomepageThe Homepage gives you access to the entire site. From here you can go shopping, browse the products and manage your shopping basket. You can also request a catalogue, contact us to discuss your needs or add your name to our email list to ensure you are amongst the first to hear about our latest offers. There is also lots of information about us, our products and the services we offer.
You can always return to the Homepage from anywhere within the website by clicking on the logo at the top of each page.
To start shopping, click on a product category on the left hand side of the homepage and you can start browsing through the product range. You can click on the individual products listed for a more detailed description of the item. If you are interested in a more detailed picture of the product then click on the ‘view larger image’ button.
From the Homepage you can view the special offers and featured products by clicking on the coloured boxes in the centre of the Homepage.
If you have seen what you are looking for in a catalogue then you can use the Quickshop function - simply enter the product codes of the items you want and they will automatically be added to your Shopping Basket.
If you know the type of product you are looking for you can use the 'Search' facility under the basket (top right). Simply enter keywords associated with the item you are trying to find and click ‘Search’. If you have a catalogue you can enter the product code or catalogue description and the website will locate it for you.
How to Select an ItemOnce you have decided you would like to purchase an item, select the number of items required using the ‘plus’ and ‘minus’ buttons and then click the ‘Add to Basket’ button. It will then be added to your online 'Shopping Basket'.
Please note: By adding a product to your 'Shopping Basket' you are under no obligation to purchase at this stage - you can delete products at anytime prior to your confirmation of sale..
The Shopping Basket is a 'holding house' for the products you have selected. The products will remain here until you click 'Proceed to Checkout' (you are still under no obligation to purchase at this stage).
To view the contents of your online 'Shopping Basket' at anytime click on the ‘basket’ button at the top right of the screen.
In the basket area you can increase the quantity of a particular item or remove it. Simply make any changes and click ‘Update Basket’ to refresh the costs. The amount shown is the total amount payable for the goods, plus any packaging, carriage and insurance charges that are applicable. Any special discounts will also be shown. If you haven’t finished shopping, you can return to browsing by clicking ‘Continue Shopping’.
Once you have finished shopping and would like to purchase your items click on the 'Proceed to Checkout' button and follow the instructions which will include details of where you would like your chosen products delivered and your desired payment option.

How do I find products?
Products are grouped into relevant sections and you can browse through these by selecting a category on the left hand side of the homepage. If you know what you are looking for, the ‘Search’ facility (top right) will automatically find all the relevant products on the website. Simply choose suitable words that describe the item you are looking for and click on the ‘Search’ button.
How do I select multiple items?
You can add as many items as you like to your Shopping Basket. If you require more than one of an individual item then you can do this by increasing the number you add to the Shopping Basket, or by increasing the quantity in the basket itself and then clicking ‘Update Basket’.
How do I purchase products?
When you have finished browsing click on the ‘Shopping Basket’ at the top right of the screen. This will show you the total cost of your order. From here click on the ‘Proceed to Checkout’ button and you will be taken through a process for entering your details and payment.
How can I see what’s in my Shopping Basket?
At the top right hand side of the screen there is always a basket logo – by clicking on this you will be taken to the Shopping Basket section.
How do I remove products from my Shopping Basket?
If you click on the ‘x’ at the end of the product you wish to remove, it will be deleted from your Shopping Basket.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, Delta, Maestro and Solo credit/debit cards via the website. Alternatively you can place an order via our catalogue, where cheques are accepted.
How secure is the website?
The website uses a 'Secure Server Certificate' which ensures end-to-end transaction security and privacy for customers. The Secure Server Certificate operates seamlessly, creating an encrypted link between your browser and our web server, which protects all the information that is sent during transactions.
How can I return an unwanted item?
In the unlikely event that you are not totally satisfied with any goods purchased please inform us in writing and telephone Customer Services on 01543 462500 within 7 days (starting on the day after the goods are delivered to you).
What do I do if I cannot find a product from the catalogue on the website?
We try and remove items that are temporarily out of stock to avoid causing frustration when customers place orders – but we are likely to have another shipment on the way, so do please call our helpful Call Centre Staff on 01543 462500.
How long does delivery take?
We aim to despatch most orders with 14 days, but do please allow up to 28 days.
If I order more than one product, will they arrive together?
Not necessarily, we will despatch your goods as soon as they are available.
What should I do if I haven’t received my order within 28 days?
In the unusual circumstances that your goods haven’t arrived, please give our Customer Service team a call on 01543 462500 and they will investigate the matter for you. We will give you a full refund if required.
Do you deliver abroad?
Unfortunately we are unable to offer a service for deliveries outside the UK mainland.
Is there a money-back guarantee?
We offer a 7-day money back guarantee on every product we sell through the website to ensure that you have peace of mind and are happy with your purchase. We also provide a 12 month warranty from the date of purchase on all goods, with the exception of wrought iron style gates (10 years) and wooden gates (5 years).
